Shachar is leading the business development initiatives in InsurTech and Digital health areas at Sompo Digital Lab Tel Aviv.

Prior to his current position, Shachar spent 15 years at IBM, where he founded and led the IBM Alpha Zone Accelerator, promoting collaboration of Israeli Startups with IBM Corporate.

Most recently, from 2015 to 2018 Shachar led Samsung RUNWAY collaboration with Startups program, scouting for technologies to be integrated into Samsung Electronics Products.

He holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences from Tel Aviv-Yafo Academy and an MBA from Technion University.
